A walk through the oldest part of the city, where Barcelona was founded by the Romans. The walk starts at Plaça del Pi, one of the most beautiful squares in the city, it then explores the vicinity of the Cathedral, with its medieval cloisters and old city walls. There is an optional detour to see a Roman temple, followed by a walk to the Palau Reial Major and Museu Frederic Mares. From Plaça del Rei to Plaça Sant Jaume, you’ll experience the powerful heart of Gothic, Roman and present-day Barcelona.

Take detours into the Raval, explore La Boqueria market, look on the ground to spot a Miró and admire lots of Modernist buildings, including Palau Güell by the master himself, Antoni Gaudí.
